How to retrieve archived data in sap

Hi All,

        I archived data of sales order,the data related to sales order is not showing in database,

now i want to retrieve this sales order.So could you tell me how to retrieve it.I have one concern that whether the

data related to that sale order will be seen in database after retrieving.

        any help of yours will be appreciated.. thank you very much
